They were also pretty blase about the whole thing saying people don't realise that we are breathing in asbestos every single day without realising it. In fact, I remember her saying "remember the scenes from 9/11? That white dust everyone was covered in was in big part asbestos dust and that's all around the world 'cos we all share the same air not to mention what happens here and elsewhere on a daily basis.

You just took me on a 1 hr google surf....seems as if the WTC were partially fireproofed using asbestos and cement mixture - the laws changed half-way through the construction, which stopped the use of asbestos throughout.

Regardless, it's stated that some 2000 tonnes of asbestos dust was released when they crashed.....damn, that stuff was then literally everywhere and anywhere for the next few years....probably still blowing in the wind up and down the eat coast of U.S.

Moreover, we are subjected to asbestos in our daily lives naturally through the environment.....looks like we just can't escape it.....and if it only takes on fibre to cause damage to our lungs, then, well, we're all stuffed.
