BIS Shrapnel projections

There was some interesting discussion with the pointy heads at BIS Shrapnel in the AFR 7/8/14. (Paid subscription).

Interesting to note their projections for Brisbane commercial (wouldn't touch even with a 20% discount over the next few years) .

17% growth for Sydney resi (still some way to go? )

Short term ovee supply of units in Sydney but not dramatic. More of an issue in some of the other capital cities.

Yeah i remember reading this not too long ago. Interesting assessment on supply of Sydney units just meeting demand conditions now (not oversupplied).

Article seems spruikerish - about how good they are at forecasting. If you point out one mans correct calls out of 200, of course they'll look good.

Nonetheless, sounded credible enough...backed up his judgements.
