Hi everybody,
I am on the verge of buying my 1st IP. Currently paying off PPOR.
This forum has been absolutely amazing and I am learning so much from all of you. One thing I have really taken notice of is the importance of ensuring that you have the correct structure in place from the beginning.
As I am a newbie to the game I was wondering if anybody could recommend an accountant / solicitor / mortgage broker etc that specialises in property and is based in Geelong (preferrably) or Melbourne, Victoria?
I really want to ensure that I have the best team assembled from the start as I know little mistakes in this business can have detrimental long term effects......

Do a search. There are many accountants & brokers that frequent this forum. They all seem to know their stuff. In this technological age we live in, location is not that important.

Steve Crane at Mobile Mortgage Market www.mobilemortgagemarket.com.au lives in Geelong and is particularly active around the Bellarine Peninsula, up towards Ballarat and also the western suburbs of Melbourne. If you are wanting Conveyancers try http://www.francistorrens.com.au/ They were the original 'conveyancers' in Victoria - Peter J Francis (dec) risked his practising licence (lawyer) to start up a 'cut price' conveyancing company. I have used this company since 1989, however as always, you have to make your own decisions.
