Could anyone please direct me to a free information source for Cap rates in Australian major cities for Retail and Commercial office space?

My advice is to look at commercial properties you are interested in and ASK the agents for some recent sales information. They would be more than happy to give it to you - in fact lots of Information Memorandums (IMs in the industry-lingo) contain this information anyway.

Have a look at some of the major agent websites like jll knight, Frank, cushman wakefield or dtz etc. These companies have lots of info in their research section.
