Change of Accountant

Hi

I have been using an accountant that is highly recommended by this forum for the last few years. However, there have been mistakes and misses in this year return even though my records have been very clear.

I am now thinking of changing accountant and would like to ask:
1. Is it easy to change as the current accountant have all my historical records like borrowing cost / depreciation schedule etc etc
2. Any recommendations of good accountant who are property savvy ?

Thank you
Steven

You can ask for copies of all the records on file. Then provide this to your new accountant / tax agent. This will simplify transition a long way.

Most practitioners scan records so its very easy to provide a copy of the last three years files in PDF.
