Flannery had been saying the sea would rise 1 cm a year for the past 10 years or so which means that it should be 100mm higher than 10 years ago.
The fact is that it has risen about 4.5 mm which means within 10 years he is out by about 95% in his forecast.
The original IPCC report claimed something similar, the latest IPCC report at least had enough sense to say that the change is not happening as fast as expected.
Then again Flannery is paid by the Govt to support our brand new tax on everything so he has to do what he is told or he won't get a new contract will he.
I notice in the report they say that Western Sydney will have hotter days than in the past. Hmmm, now let me think, 50 years ago more than half of the land past Parramatta out to the mountains was forests, orchards, farms and dairies nowadays it if factories, houses, roads etc
Nah, that wouldn't effect the bounce back of heat, all them air conditioners don't do nothing, all those roads won't reflect heat back into the atmosphere................ the guy must think everyone is an idiot.
What people want is action on pollution, we can see that, we can smell it, we know it is happening but it is the elephant in the room that the governments of the world ignore.
