Container Shed Homes

Just noticed the links to the photos. It isn't a bargain but pretty damn nice for the price.

Not sure how approvals would go though, too big for a granny flat, and not sure how most councils would feel about a demountable as a primary dwelling.

Am having a serious think where this would be a good investment. Mining towns?

Wow that is simply the most beautiful spot. It wouldn't matter if you had a dumpster on it, I'd be happy :) The council and neighbours well maybe not.

Amazing how the plan I linked basically fits into a 40ft container and then on site becomes a house. Bloody fantastic! Also if built on stumps is low impact on the terrain.

Checked prices for my life-partners dream spot. $7M.
She said land is to small, so need to knock down 2 adjoining lots and rebuild.
$18M?

We've got a bit of hustling to do.

Doing a little research the bones are definitely there for a cheap build.

You can also get a 40 foot high cube container which is higher than standard
2.7 compared to 2.4

Cost for a secondhand standard 40 foot is $2500 delivered.
