Pet hate ... bad misquote.

Comment TJ made was about a sales trip they made, trying to sell some early IBM computers. They estimated a world market for IBM's computer ON THAT TRIP of up to 5 machines. I think they made something like 12 sales that trip - blew their expectations away.

I've got the full story somewhere - I'll have to track it down, it's quite fascinating.
