Good question; this is exactly what we do, and I've often wondered the same.Does sharing a bottle of wine each night with my partner make me an alcoholic??

Another poll for RF

Well i was at the airport with my best friend who has just gotten engaged
We were in duty free and saw a special on Louis 13
So in a moment of tyipical female buying, we bought a bottle each!!!!!
Feeling very proud of ourselves with the knowledge of scoring a bargain, and the pleasure of drinking the most well known cognacs and beautiful bottles,
We decided to have it on Saturday, we opened both bottles and poured a carefully measured shot each
And with anticpation of what liquid gold must taste like, we saluted and clicked glasses.
What followed was "oh farq, this is friggin terrible"
It took us 20 minutes to drink that one shot and both were pretty much holding our noses every time we swallowed
For sale: one bottle of Louis 13 with one shot short ie 670 ml
It retails for over $3k aud a bottle in aud...how much did you get it for? and you bought 2??
Certainly not, we bought one each!
It was $1999, most duty free places around the world, its about 2400
Oz is just stupidly expensive
I have a friend you bought one at his local bottle shop for about 1500 in Japan

I feel guilty spending more than $50 on a bottle of wine
Cheers

Ah, just like a good wine, just use it for cooking.
