Granny flat potential?

Thanks so much for the input guys,especially you dave .
(what can be achieved if laws changed and garage turned into an extra 2 rooms)
What I did forget to mention was that the bathroom was going to be where the laundry is and vice versa. Also...that garage is going to have a hallway in the middle with 2 bedrooms and two built-ins running in the middle.
So that small bedroom you see doesn't really matter as it's a the third bedroom in reality. So picture all that and tell me what you think. Again thanks for the input guys .

Sorry Dave,my bad.But this is just a mock drawing of what can be achieved, I'm not saying I'm going to do that,it's just an option later on in the future if any laws change.

Digging started today (and cancelled due to rain) and i'm leaning towards Dave's design as well. We'll just have to wait and see how this ends up.
