Green light or no green light..

Would someone please explain what is meant when a member appears as a "currently active member" at the bottom of the menu page but does not have their green light on against posts etc. Are they online or not? It's no big deal but I'm just curious.

I think it's just a quirk where the definition of "online" is different between what is displayed at the bottom of the home page versus showing the green light.

Blame it on the cookies.
