I just finished reading Jans book,
I loved it!
I especially liked the way she has defined different styles of buying property,
Considering the amount of material I read per day, unless its riveting stuff, I WILL nod off to sleep, I read Jans book in two sittings, bright eyed and wide awake, it certainly contained enough "ooompff" to make me want to keep reading, well done and thankyou Jan!

As for a light/easy motivational read I recommend Peter Spann's book "Wealth Magic" Harper Collins Publishers October 2001. At $19.95 its cheap and good for an uplift - reads a bit like a Rich dad Poor dad but much more personal and Australian. It gives an overview of his property acquisition strategy and discusses shares in ultra brief too.
Like his style or not, he is a genuine Australian success story with much of his wealth coming from property.
And for Jeremy L ;^) it gives the how, when, where and approximate quantity of his net worth.
