Heads Up !!! Safety Switch recall !!!

G'day all,

Heard this on radio last night. Could be worth checking out if YOU have had a Safety Switch fitted to any properties in the last 2 years.

As I heard it, there has been a RECALL issued for safety switches fitted since Dec 03. The brands involved are Merlin Gerin or Square D (the latter being a D in a square).

The warning was that "they may not switch off when triggered"

Anyone with one of the above brands fitted since Dec 03 should call Schneider Electric on 1300 733907.

The radio presenter also mentioned "a list of serial numbers" - so it may be worth collecting this before ringing Schneider.
