Help benchtop repair

Hi All

Just wondering whether there is any kitchen benchtop repairer that you can recommend in Blacktown sydney, need two long cracks to be fixed.

I just got a quote couldnt believe it confused: the following is the email from the guy

If you want a cheaper alternative to repair the bench you will need to cut out section where sink sits in. This will leave you with joints either side of the sink. However if cupboard below does not line up with the joint then the whole bench will need to be replaced.

Estimate of repair to black granite will be between $1500 to $2000.

Estimate of replacing whole bench section $2500-$3000



Plz could anyone point me to a more affordable option thx.

Is this a granite top.
If this is for a rental might be cheaper to replace with laminate top.
