Historical Price Data - Where to Find?

I'm after historical price data to compare the performance of particular Sydney suburbs over the space of 20-30 years.

Where can I acquire such data, be it free or paid?

You can access this data through Pricefinder or Rpdata. It's paid. However I don't think they have it for 20 -30 years.

If you just need the capital cities then you can use ABS which is free.

Absolutely no point - no one would have bought in Balmain, Potts Point, Naremburn, Dee Why, Blacktown, cbd resi, Lakemba etc 30 years ago. The figures bear no relevance unless you are doing a valuation assignment.
