Julian Assange is just a means ...we are in the cyberspace age, he is doing nothing media, whistleblowers have not done before us...'pre cyberspace days' in days of press/paper..
There will be Julians in the future, as there have been in the past.
Sometimes, just sometimes they bring important coverups to the attention of people. Transparency is not so bad. Sometimes, just sometimes, because of people like involved in Watergate, Daniel Ellsbergs Pentagon Papers, wikileaks...it can bring about change and improvement and accountability.

i am sure the gossip, corruption, bribery and lies of other areas of the world (middle east, soviet block, asia, south america, african countries) would also be very interesting to the lefties ... to learn exactly what they think and feel and undertake behind the show of goodwill (or sabre rattling).

The US are no saints , I don't agree with everything they do but they are doing everything they can to fight the big picture since 9/11 . Sometimes too much and sometimes totally wrong but they've been through a lot and a lot since too. At the end of the day they are your Allies and your friends , if we did need them you'd want to hope and pray they get their a's over here and quickly.

What I find amazing is the Left and women's groups in absolute support of the Arab world, with all the abuse of human rights there. The same women who stamp their feet about equal opportunity have no clue what goes on in a lot of these countries. Maybe more should travel the world.
Abuse human rights, pfff. It was interesting that when the Egypt protests were going on, even Iraq evacuated it's people from Egypt back to Iraq. When the arab world move into the 21st century with rights, then come back to me about human rights.

they havnt yet but they are going to. A lot of stuff about Swiss bank accounts and insurance fraud on a large scale. Should be interesting.
