So let's say if there are around 14 million working tax paying adults (excluding children) it would mean about 1.26 million of AUS people own it, right? I know % seems small but in terms of people that perhaps makes a better interpretation?

No. 1.26 million is 9%
126,000 is closer.

The statistic also doesn't include properties owned in entities outside of personal names. It's just a stat though - so is to be read with a grain of salt.

Hey Sim, what day/time are the meetups at the Bull and Bush, and at Chatswood? I'm over in Summer Hill but could get there pretty easily to either. Are there any set topics/interests within investing or is the group quite broad? I'd love to come along to one sometime actually.

They are infrequent and usually posted in the meeting place forum or on Meetup.com

I haven't organised any recently because I've been too busy.

The meetups I organise are purely social networking events - come along and chat to other investors over a drink/dinner. No sales pitches, no spruiking - just a bunch of like-minded people who share a common interest in investing.
