Does anyone have any thoughts about how WestConnex will impact property in Ashfield? We?re looking at a property on Frederick St (quite a busy road) and wondered if anyone has any insight into whether homes on this street have been earmarked for acquisition. It looks like there?s no firm indication of where the ventilation stacks will be and we?re a bit concerned they might be close by. In the longer term the tunnel will likely relieve traffic on this street which would help the value if there are no other negative drivers (ie stack next door). Do you think it?s crazy to think about purchasing on this road?
