Yes, but I paid for it. If I'm wrong I pay, others must do the same. When the copper found the paraphernalia under my car floor mat, I paid for it. I didn't argue it was some kind of "wear n tear".

I really cant see the connection with the landlord feeling sorry for the tenants situation and you having prohibited paraphernalia(no doubt drug related)where the police took appropriate actions to prosecute you to the full extent of the law ,this case is about a wear and tear matter not a police matter ,so once again I applaud the landlord for his/her compassion in the circumstances .I do not feel sorry for you if you were caught with "paraphernalia" under the floor mat .

The part about feeling sorry was a joke. You got you words mixed up in your first post. Apathy is when you don't care, empathy is when you do care. Sorry about that, no hard feelings.
