Investing in the USA

Hi everyone,

I am doing some research into purchasing property in the USA. Like with any property purchase, alot of research should be done beforehand to ensure a successful investment.

I am asking if anyone has had any experience with purchasing property in the USA and what tips they could provide to avoid making mistakes. Has anyone had any experience with companies such as "myusaproperty" who source USA properties for you?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Have you tried calling the company you mention and asking about their costs/fees/commissions? Obviously from there you can decide it's worth vs doing all the legwork yourself, based on whether you enjoy/hate doing that kinda thing.

If ya read thru a couple of the other threads, try searching america or usa on these forums it's evident a lot of work is involved. Their mentalities and processes are a lot different to ours, finance is difficult to obtain, reliable PM is difficult to obtain etc. Some people enjoy those challenges and some don't - weighing those against your investment objectives and costs of myusaproperty will determine if it's right for you.
