Hi All,
I've just about finished Think & Grow Rich (50 pgs left to go) for the first time & was wondering what the different takes on the 'secret' have been.
There's continual reference in the preface to the 'secret' that the book contains and how it has been used by many to achieve their financial goals. For those who've read the book what was their take on what the 'secret' was ?
Anyone care to comment ?
Given I've raised the question, it's only fair I give you my current take on it which is - there are no secrets, just the implementation of a number of techniques that can all be trained and developed i.e. persistence, auto suggestion, imagination, etc. Perhaps the only secret is that without desire you won't have the will to implement the others, but even desire can be developed i.e. a dream or wish given visualisation and imagination can develop into your burning desire, therefore how can desire be the secret ?
And for you followers of Socrates out there please don't ask me to define 'secret'
And for you lovers of English I know I'm not supposed to start a sentence with 'And'
Cheers
Mark
