New poll behaviour

This new poll feature is driving me crazy. I'm spending perhaps 20% more time per day on a dial up network just looking at threads with new votes, with no new contributions- and I really don't have that time.
How many people who voted that they like the new poll behaviour are on dial up networks? I'd imagine it's a minority- it seems that the majority of people who voted on net connections have ADSL or cable.
If a person has ADSL or cable, and wants to see new poll results, just search on posts starting with "poll" and spend two minutes browsing every one.
I'd start a new poll except...
(I don't like to ignore posts starting with "Poll:" because they can still have posts).

Not trying to be rude geoffw, but if you really don't have time, then perhaps you should be just ignoring them - some decisions have to be made about what to let go of if you just can't do it all. I gave up reading all the forum posts a long time ago.
The poll thing is just a fad.
