D dreamgirl 19th Jun, 2013 #1 Hiya, I've been quoted $80/sqm to pave a patio. Does this sound reasonable? Cheers, dreamgirl

T The Fence 19th Jun, 2013 #4 Ok, is he licenced? That's not a bad quote, also depends upon the paver selected, they range from $30-100's per sq/m. I'd have to see the job to make a complete call on this though. Good luck.

N nhg 19th Jun, 2013 #5 Is it for your home or IP? If for IP I would suggest you pay the GST. You'll get more back than saving the GST.

I'm extending the existing patio (there's a gap between the existing patio and new driveway). So, we're trying to match the existing pavers and he's also putting in drains, so I guess the qoute's reasonable.

T The Fence 20th Jun, 2013 #7 Alarm bells are ringing in my ears. The quote he gave you is not worth the paper its written on unless he is licenced to do this work. Consumer beware is all I can advise now.
