Quantity Surveyor Information

Hi all.

I have recently built a new home down in Melbourne. The home just finished construction one month ago.

I have two questions:

1. When should I get a Quantity Surveyor report done?
2. Does anyone know any good Quantity Surveyors?

I found one called Depreciator at http://depreciator.com.au/ but was wondering if anyone else had any ideas?

I live in Sydney, but the property is in Melbourne.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Congrats on the new build.

1. As soon as possible as you will still get some depreciation for last FY
2. We use BMT

Depreciator is good and is a forum member here too.

i have used bmt and find them to be good. very comprehensive report.

did a quantity surveyer report in rosebud for me and came up trumps
did not take long and come tax time was well worth it

I have known pete for years however his coleige worked the rosebud area so he did it for me so no favors were done
