Termite sniffer dogs

I would be keen to use this termite inspection service if I was in the Melbourne area. The article says that they are common in NSW & Qld but I've never come across them. I hope my previous post was not unclear .... I am not from Buy Wise Inspection Services. Just quoted the name of the firm.
Looks like sniffer dogs may not be as common as the article suggested.

Hi Rocko,

I have heard of these sniffer dogs which seeming seek out termites. I am from the Hawkesbury region and they are certainly unheard of out here. Regardless, I think I would feel somewhat uneasy leaving my trust in a k-9. Then again, I guess you can’t trust some humans either…

Using termite sniffer dogs is more environment friendly. Its better than spraying ozone depleting chemicals. If dogs can find bombs and drugs why cant use them to find termites.

Saw a documentary with a Labrador who was a "Truffell" sniffer dog once.Seemed to work.
