am undertaking my first reno/improvement project and am seeking advice on the cost/pitfalls of tile roof restoration.
Background: Renovating/improving my PPOR which will be an IP next year. Also trying to increases street appeal, value for valuation. Currently the property is lowset rendered (painted in Tuscany orange = awful) and tiled. Am looking to repaint outside walls in a contemporary light grey/beige and restore (clean, repoint, paint) the tile roof to a dark grey/black.
Can I get some advice on the cost/pitfalls of the tile roof restoration. Am concerned that if the work does not look any good it will destroy the street appeal and all the work we have done to date.
