water pressure low

hi, was told by tenant that the water pressure suddenly was lower over the night. check with neighbour and theirs was ok.

what can be the issue?

it is a free standing single story townhouse.
check the main water switch that no one has played around with it too.

One tap or multiple taps.
Just hot, or cold, or both?

Blocked filter on the aerator at tap. Water filter somewhere.
Flow control tap at HWS.

In WA we have a non-return valve at the water meter that sometimes jams.

We had that issue at an IP we recently purchased, the issue was that the Water Board had reduced supply due to the previous owner's unpaid water rates.

+1 for the other suggestions - especially clogged water aerators...

Was any work done at the property or nearby recently?
Is there a possibility of damaged supply pipes?

Sometimes the council carry out work nearby and forget to turn the pressure up again.

galvanised pipes

Could be galvanised iron piping that has rusted inside pipe and reduced flow.
