Which websites would you use to find a house?

Hi all. I'm looking for two houses, my ppor and first oz op and I am all over realestate.com and domain.Com.

I live in WA. Is there anywhere else o could be looking until there are new listings on those websites.

But really, you need to track down some agents that are working in the areas you are looking in and get on their email/text lists. I get VIP 'special' offers to view homes before they are listed. It doesn't mean much really but you do get a chance to inspect houses before they list. I know some of them never made it to re.com.au or domain because they sold at the first home open.

And keep in contact with them! Shows you are serious and they'll keep the unlisted sales coming.

Generally all of the major portals are owned by Fairfax or Murdoch eg. Myhome, realeststeview.com.au etc

The major portals garner the vast majority of the hits with the more obscure sites having the forgotten listings and ones which haven't been removed by the agent.

Try gumtree, fsbo or ebay.
