Silverchair and the Whitlams have both always been right up there. Grew up with a crush on Sarah McLeod and Ella Hooper. Saw Motor Ace live every chance I could, Machine Gun Fellatio was also great fun back in the day, and Amy Meredith is amongst my favourites now. And Kate Miller-Heidke is stunning in every sense of the word.
Was also lucky enough to get a ticket to the Crowded House secret show at the Corner Hotel a few months before their official comeback gig, about five years ago. They were on stage for almost three hours, just 200-odd fans in the bar and they blew everyone away. Probably the best gig that I've ever been to.
Last but certainly not least, our wedding song was a piano version of this track by Thirsty Merc, who Sam & I both rate amongst the most brilliant of musicians. Can't find the one that we used anywhere online (other than itunes) but it's just beautiful.

showing your age, late 80's, early 90's. Those were the days for the live bands like ratcat around surry hills and chippendale when these places were really cool!!!

OH SNAP. You sir, are a legend. Thanks for the heads up, I didn't even know about the doco. Saw them for the hundredth time in December, still awesome as always! Never miss a chance to see The Psychos.
