Whoo! Rezoning through the gateway.

Got some exciting news today.

Got the rezoning through the gateway determination at the Department of Planning!

Only took one month after nearly 2 years at Council.

Need to get a phase 1 contamination report done and prepare a voluntary planning agreement for funding a sewer pump station. Then it goes on public exhibition and approval from council.

Should be 6-8 months until the rezoning is approved, then I'll lodge a da for the subdivision. This time next year it will be a prime development site on the market.

Long, hard slog but the results will be worth it.

I thought 4 years from starting reports to going on exhibition. This is start of year 3, so I'm about 8 months ahead of schedule.
