Nice One

Just what I needed.
I just learned a place I got 14 years ago was a good buy.
Being a 1st timer at the time, well I have always had it in my mind if I did good or not.
So now I'm sure I did well.
Thanks

Changes have been made from today.

To access property reports at "onthehouse.com.au", members need to subscribe to their service & pay an annual $5 subscribtion fee.

It's not much of a fee, but was nice to get it for free.:D

Cheers:)

i am not sure about many other sites but www.allhomes.com.au in canberra and regional areas if fantastic site to brouse through, all past data , past sales on homes , last time it sold and for how much, ucv values, uv bargains new listings , just awsome, site not seen one like it yet,

I paid up. $5 for a whole year is pretty reasonable (a lot better than myrpdata!) And if it saves us $5k on our negotiations, then so much the better.

Amazing Numbers

I love looking at the Mansions straddling the Brisbane river as I ride to work on the CityCat. Some of the numbers on these properties are quite amazing! These are from Laidlaw Parade a very prestigious street. No doubt there has been some rebuilding gone on at these addresses over this time, never the less interesting to see.

Is it possible that a listing like that wasn't for the whole house selling ? For example one party buying out another, and thtat is the figure paid so that is what is recorded as the sale price.
Does that make sence ?

My neighbour recently sold his house and my friendly RE agent has not been able to give me details.

The mowing contractor told me WHO and this site told me HOW MUCH. :D

Who needs RP Data?

didnt quite get u. do u mean, the property was partly sold? but then why the area for both the properties(year 2010 and 2004) are same?
696sqmt

or do u mean the difference was paid?
doesnt make any sense. why cant we see actual sell prices? isnt then the median prices of the subrub will go down/up with these type of sales?

is it same on rpdata? i wonder....

Be interesting to see what RPData has to say...

I think L&P is suggesting it was originally bought 50-50, and one owner bought the other owner out and hence the reduced price...or it could have been a sale to a relative at below market value??

My understanding is the data comes from the government (I'd assume titles), so prices are correct...

It looks as if past info is good (sold prices) but it's not too hot with current info.

It lists one property for sale in my neighbourhood, but according to realestatedotcomdotau there are 108.
