My budget is limited to 550k. Looking PPOR between Blacktown to Penrith.

Is it possible to get 3 bedroom brick house in today's market?

How about searching www.realestate.com.au before asking here. It really isn't that hard.

There were no thread about western sydney for PPOR. All about investing.
My criteria:
St Clair, St Marys, Colyton, Blacktown or Penrith.
Land size 500sqm.
Less than 20 yrs brick house.
Will I get this within my budget?

St Clair - probably not.
Colyton - yep. Just two valued today that came in way short of that figure. 500K should buy you bottom end there.
Blacktown and Penrith - suburbs within those area still have properties under that figure. You will need to fight the stampedes tho if you want to buy a half-decent property.

Investing or PPOR, it doesn't matter. There's no specifics that say you have to only invest on one are, and live in another. Just check realestate.com. There's heaps of stuff to choose from.

I'm sure you can get something like that. I'll take a look on RE.com.au and Domain.com.au.

It'll take me a little while, but check back often and I'll post my top picks.

Sheesh! Don't do it for him. They'll never learn to do it themselves if we do it all for them. Besides, you are in Melbourne & he's in Sydney. He should be out this way talking to Agents if he's at all serious.

Blacktown possibly not, but other suburbs yes. But not at sub 20 years old.

St Clair would be a small property with work needed to get in at that price point these days.
