Just curious about whether there is a trend as to what personality types are attracted to property investment. For the record, I'm very much an introvert.

How about 'a bit of both'?

I would have thought that more the norm in the general population than all extrovert or all introvert.

I am naturally very shy and quiet. I'm also on the conservative side when it comes to my physical appearance, so I suppose I'm an introvert. That's not to be taken for not 'confident' though - a mistake that, I believe, a lot of people make. I deal with hundreds of customers through my work every day and this has really enhanced my social skills over the years so I feel as though I am becoming a little more 'extroverted' as time goes by.

Same here. Infact, the more confident and secure I've become as I've grown older, the quieter I've become both in manner and dress.

Both. Depends on the situation.

I'm very comfortable presenting to a crowed, being with new groups of people etc, but I also know when to sit and listen.

E or I?

Hiya

Many people assume "extroverts" are better personality types than "introverts"....

A friend who has two sons on both extreme ends once told me that true extroverts always need people around them or they can get "depressed" while true introverts are happy with their own company and can exist/survive on their own:D

I think i am an introvert but friends say i am an extrovert....so i guess that makes me an introverted-extrovert....

I s'pose it would be quite extroverted to publicly proclaim that one considers themself to be an extrovert in a forum post just like this one :)

As I saw this thread I was thinking "I really don't know" and was delighted to see an 'unsure' option.

But then had to laugh when I noticed I was the only one that selected it. I guess that just shows what an indecisive person I am.

Really though, I don't know. I'm a confusing person sometimes. Never really know who I am.

Just as a note, you can be an introvert but be perceived by others to be an extrovert.

A rule of thumb test is this: when you are tired/run down/had a long day, which way do you prefer to "recharge":

- by yourself (or "in your own space"), in a quiet place

OR

- with others (socializing, partying)

The first one tends towards an introvert, the second towards an extrovert.

The Y-man

p.s. where does a web forum like somersoft fit? I argue it is still "own space"

What happens if you are tired and run down from all the partying and socialising you have been doing all day/week?
