Thanks for that Rolf. But there is a good in between the lines message here. Too many people are prepared to stay with their bank even though they get ripped off month after month. Yeah, I hate my bank, but it's too much of a hassle to open up an account somewhere else seems to be the common excuse. When CBA introduced that $5 nonsense, my girlfriend and I went out THE NEXT DAY and opened accounts with Bendigo Bank. Their fees are very reasonable and we are very happy with the service. You know, if people showed the banks what they thought of their policies by walking out, I wonder how long they would have fee structures like they do now? Just another case of people fobbing the responsibility for their lives onto someone else, cause it's easier than looking after themselves. They deserve to get ripped off if they choose to do nothing about it.
