Bathroom Renovation

Hi All,

I have found a house I would like to buy. However, me and my gf think that the bathroom need to be renovated since it is an old bathroom (house has been built since 1975). The thing we want to change is the tiles, bathroom vanity, and shower screen. The bathroom size is around 2.5 x 2.5 m. What do you think the cost would be (approximately) to change these things with standard stuff ? How long does it usually require to complete this ? Do you guys know any good company or tradies for this job ? The area is on north shore area.

Piece of string question. With a good answer it depends.

What is the market you are working towards?

How much of it are you doing yourself?

Bathrooms can be done in 1-2 weeks, for a couple thousand dollars, and then skies the limit.

Thanks for your comments. The house would be for my PPOR so I guees the market is for young couple ( is this what you mean ?)

I do not have experience in renovating so I guess much of the work would be done by the plumber/tiler/builder.

Couple of thousand dollars are not bad. I may start by asking quotation from the tradies or companies specialising in this type of renovation. Any recommendation ?
