Costs to subdivide

We are looking to buy IP. One option is a 950m2 home that we could subdivide. Has anyone subdivided a property in NSW before and what was the costs to do so? NOT the costs to actually build, although that we also would like to know. More the steps involved to subdivide and how long it took etc.

Hi, never done myself I here learning too, but I think the first step is ring your local council and talk to a town planner.
