Was wondering if i buy an investment property. Do i loose my first home buyers grant??

I always thought i do. But have just been talking to some people who believe can still use it years later when i buy my first home..

I made the same mistake but also recently found out that as long as you don't live in the IP then you can still claim FHO on a property you buy later and live in, neat

BUt beware

that you may lose your stamps exemption which may be worth more than the FHOG !
