Google launches free property listing service

...... hassle of the mum and dad's selling this week, not selling next week, it's too expensive to list, I made a mistake in my listing, I can't upload photos, I lost my password....

I'd go with just REA's simply for the ease of management too.

Have you taken a look at some of the so called "professional" listings by some agents. I reckon my private listing would outshine some of the ones I see on re.com as far as professionalism of text and quality of photos is concerned .

What do we call this? Market blackmail? Or simply 'persuasion'?

From a user point of view who wouldn't use google RE with the service improvements over re.com.au/domain.com.au?

Get with the times News Corp/Fairfax, the public want's more info from info providers and google's providing it.

I agree.

Google Maps is far easier to use when domain.com.au or re.com.au

Of course, these two sites will fight to keep their monopoly. It won't be easy to fend the better service from Google though...

still doesn't have the volume of listings as RE.com and domain. But I can only see google growing and capturing larger market share from here.
