Google vans have been driving around taking pictures of surroundings to add a further feature to Google Maps.
Currently, Street View has only been done in America, however, people have sighted these vans in Australia also.
Basically allows you to see what a street looks like in 360 degrees.

Drag the little yellow man onto a blue street to see pictures. Use the up and down arrows inside the images to 'walk' up and down the street. Make sure you rotate the image
