How to find current owners of property

Hi there,

I am looking at renting a place. The real estate agent I am dealing with are near on impossible to deal with. I have left several messages etc etc. I have had inspection, told them I want the place, filled out the paper work. However they are dragging the chain and wont return my calls.

I have offered to pay the full 6 months in advance.

How can I find out who the owners are so I can talk to them. I feel that the real estate agent are not doing any favours for the owners.

Go to the local council and request a "short rates search".

Where i am it costs $20 bucks..actually did one yesterday...

im in qld, not sure if its called the same elsewhere but just head off to the council anyway, they will help you...

agent maybe trying to hold the property for someone else...agents in my opinion are scum..never trust any of them, they are all sneaky!

RPDATA - i think they do daily subscriptions now - just pick 1 suburb for 24 hours - might cost $17.50 or something - check it out on google
