is 500k outer eastern suburbs

Hi Folks,

I have max budget of 500k and looking to buy outer Melbourne eastern suburbs .

I look at

Croydon
Ringwood east
Bayswater
Wantirna
Wantirna South

Ideally I want a house ( renovated / unrenovated doesn't matter ) with at least 500m2 block of land and preferably within walking distance to tain or bus stop

so my question is 500k is realistic budget for my criteria above? I just want to hear your opinion...

Back in 1985 you could have bought 6 houses in Boronia for that.

I used to live and work all around that area, and I reckon the pick is possibly Ringwood East due to it's proximity to Eastland, the train, the freeway etc.
