I did $100 or 4 loans to start too. As they have been paid back I have reinvested the money again and again.

Same! It just goes around & around again & again.

I did the same but as I had some that didn't pay back I have had to add to it.

I have had a few delinquent loans as I have loaned to areas in strife, such as Gaza, etc.

Its a great scheme

I've had one delinquent so I have put more money in every now and then. Generally when something goes well for me then I put in extra to pay it forward a bit more.

I'd still lend to the high risk like you did as it's not about getting the money back, it's about helping people help themselves isn't it?

I agree. To me when I put the money in I don't expect to get it back, if I do then its a bonus and I reloan it out.

Currently I am mainly donating to World Vision toward the Syrian Childrens learning centres

Thanks for the prompt.
I reloaned my Kiva credit and topped up with a donation.
My $75 input has been lent out to 10 loanees with $250 worth of loans.
I've only ever lost a little to currency conversion.
With 92 team member of 'Fans of Somersoft' we have
- Loaned $118,950
- Over 4620 loans
- Which is 50 loans per member.

I've mostly been lending out repayments as they come in, rarely have I needed to add more to it. I've collected all the social performance badges and all the industry sectors. Next goal is 100% country list complete.
