Melb. Plumber recommendation for Hot Water Systems

Hi there. Our electric HWS broke - well, is leaking - and I need to find out whether it's just a corroded anode or the TPR valve needs replacing/cleaning or if we need to replace the whole unit.

I would love a friendly, honest, experienced plumber's contact details please who knows hot water systems and isn't just going to tell us to replace the HWS if that's not really necessary.

Hi, so thanks for Geoff's number. He's a bit busy and also works in the eastern suburbs so won't come across.

So, as an update, I need someone who services the inner west (Kingsville/Yarraville/Footscray) area please


I got a quote from a decent guy but he reckons replacement is the way and quoted $1100 approx for a 50L unit - it seems a lot!
