A simple poll. Do you use mobile devices (ipad, iphone, HTC etc) to search for and/or receive info on properties while out looking?

All the time but then again I'm on the road a lot
They are useful up to a point but the smaller screen on an iPhone can be limiting. Finding more and more that I'm packing the iPad on all inspections. Also great for easily spot checking with larger pics at pre-settlement time.

Yes I do too. I use re.com and pricefinder as apps on my iPhone.

I like the feature where you simply search current location. Quick and easy. I know realestate.com's iphone app has this feature not sure on the others.

Do you find the iPad to be worthwhile? Or do you think having a notebook is sufficient?

I've got both.

The notepad is more for biz. Can run broker software, etc.

The iPad is more for entertainment. I read books, stream sports, news, surf the net and respond to emails. It works well with the iPhone when you want to remotely connect to wifi when your out and about.
