NSW Council amalgamations - Impact??

I'm reading about amalgamation for NSW councils.

Some council area have higher property prices than others.

So which area would get a boast from amalgamation?

You aren't going to see any stupid amalgamations happening - Bogan Shire isn't going to absorb Blacktown (much to Datto's disgust).

Where councils will be incentivised to merge, they will be adjoining areas which will have similar demographics so LGA's like Lane Cove & Hunters Hill will be absorbed into North Sydney/Willoughby.
