A few yrs ago I had someone offer me a cheap RP data report and wanted me to transfer money etc. I decided it was some sort of scam - a very unprofessional one too. You might just be marketing something but we all need to be careful of the fraudsters out there.

It is RP Data's way of ensuring their information is correct.

One of the 3 that I nominated has the wrong house/block - they have swapped houses of our end with the street at the rear.

So does that mean that these properties then come up on your Facebook profile? I'm not really keen on some friends/family knowing that I invest.

The only thing others will see is an entry on your wall showing the below:

XXXXX started using myrpdata.home value tracker. · Like · · Visit myrpdata.home value tracker

If they click the 'myrpdata.home value tracker' link, they will not see yours, but their own properties (or an empty list).

I am not sure if you can still access the valuations if you remove that wall entry - haven't tried that yet.
