Trough's in laundry.

Get a space saver half width laundry tub. Can't remember whether it's the plumbing code or the BCA require one for cleaning (you can't put a bucket under the kitchen tap even if it fits). The BCA & Plumbing codes are available online now. Use it.

PS: not having one will reduce saleability/buyer appeal.

A trough in the laundry can double as a second bath but not a second toilet lol.

Other than for washing out paint brushes and pots, ours used to bath the baby. When he got too big and we got a small dog, in went the dog. We also leave oven trays soak in it. Not at the same time as we wash the dogs though.
