We have decided to disable the visitor messaging feature where users could post a message on another user's profile - which is then visible to anyone else who views that profile.
It seems that too many people were mistaking this for private messaging, and were posting information which they didn't intend to be made public.
The visitor messaging system wasn't really a serious feature of the forum, and we decided it was safer for everyone if we turned it off.
