What type of plant is this?

I saw this beautiful plant displayed on the apartment balcony in NZ. Does anyone know what is plant name? and possibly where to buy this in NSW?

Many thanks,
LC

I'm with neeko, it looks like a yucca. You can also get a similar look with some varieties of Cordyline, e.g. Cordyline Australis:

We have them growing in our yard and have always called them dragon trees.

This one looks well manicured with all the dead leaves pulled off.

I think Dave has the proper name listed above.

These guys are not in your area but they do ship or maybe they can put you onto someone locally.

Thanks all for your input.

I like the dragon trees website. From my research, most of the plants/sellers are in QLD.

Do you guys know if this plant would survive the NSW weather, especially planted on apartment balcony facing east (morning sun)? And what's the price for 1m tall tree?
