What's happening in Eagleby QLD

Hi all,

Well since starting this thread I've actually built in Eagleby. It's a 3 bedder, double garage, brick veneer single storey.
Price was $307K and it's lined up to rent for $330.
I built a new house here because of growth and to get depreciation from it. No problems in the building of the house at all. Progressed very smoothly and I think by looking at the area that it will continue to grow.

Good Morning all.

I was just up in Queensland, and was reading an article in last months Smart Investor magazine, which focused on QLD, and a small section on Eagleby. Didn't get a chance to visit the area, but spent a bit of time on the net looking.

Can anyone tell me are there "bad' and "good" areas, are you better off looking at a house with land, or are units a possibility? Is there a flood zone? It would seem to me Beenleigh is pulling Eagleby up with it. What are the current median prices you would expect to pay in the area for houses and units - typical -
